Join a highly regarded upmarket café near Billericay where fresh, quality ingredients and exceptional food standards are at the heart of everything we do.

Part-Time Cook | £14.00 per Hour | 16 Hours per Week | Near Billericay

We are currently recruiting for a Part-Time Cook to join a popular and well-established upmarket café-style venue located near Billericay.

Known for its excellent reputation and high-quality fresh food, this busy daytime operation offers a welcoming and friendly working environment. This is an ideal opportunity for someone seeking regular part-time hours with the flexibility to increase their earnings through additional shifts covering staff holidays.

Hours:

  • 16 hours per week
  • Monday and Saturday
  • 7.30am – 3.30pm
  • Additional hours available to cover holidays and busy periods

The Role:

As Part-Time Cook, you will:

  • Prepare and cook fresh, high-quality dishes to a consistently high standard
  • Work as part of a small and friendly team
  • Ensure excellent food hygiene and kitchen cleanliness
  • Assist with stock control and daily preparation
  • Maintain high standards of presentation and customer satisfaction

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Previous experience as a Cook, Café Cook, Breakfast Chef or Chef de Partie within a fresh food environment
  • A passion for quality ingredients and freshly prepared food
  • Reliable, organised and able to work independently
  • A positive attitude and strong team ethic
  • Flexibility to provide additional cover during staff holidays would be advantageous
