Café/Restaurant Supervisor – The Garden Room Eatery at Samlesbury Hall

Full Time – 37.5 Hours Per Week

Are you passionate about hospitality and delivering exceptional customer service? We are looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Café/Restaurant Supervisor to lead our front-of-house operation at The Garden Room Eatery, Samlesbury Hall.

The Garden Room Eatery is a busy and popular destination serving breakfasts, lunches, afternoon teas, cakes, coffees and seasonal specials. We welcome a mix of new visitors, loyal regulars, small parties and group bookings, all of whom receive a warm Lancashire welcome from our team.

The Role

As Café/Restaurant Supervisor, you will take responsibility for the smooth day-to-day running of the front of house operation. This is a hands-on role where you will lead by example, ensuring excellent service standards while supporting and motivating a small, friendly team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervising and coordinating front-of-house service
  • Delivering outstanding customer experiences to all guests
  • Welcoming and looking after regular customers, visitors, parties and group bookings
  • Supporting and developing team members through positive leadership
  • Ensuring the café is presented to a high standard at all times
  • Managing customer enquiries and resolving issues professionally
  • Working closely with the kitchen and management team to ensure smooth service and delivery of exceptional food and drink

About You

The ideal candidate will be:

  • Friendly, approachable and professional
  • Smart, presentable and passionate about hospitality
  • An experienced hospitality professional with strong front-of-house knowledge
  • A natural people person who enjoys engaging with customers
  • A hands-on team player who is happy to get involved wherever needed
  • Organised, reliable and able to remain calm during busy service periods
  • Experienced in supervising or leading a hospitality team
  • Knowledge of EPOS systems

Previous hospitality experience is essential.

Hours of Work

  • 37.5 hours per week
  • Typically 8:30am – 4:30pm
  • Includes every weekend
