As the Duty Manager you will:

  • Have a proven track record of operating a food & beverage outlet
  • Have experience making espresso based hot drinks to a high standard
  • Order and organise stock
  • Grow and develop this outlet
  • Manage a small team of staff
  • Organise rotas and staffing
  • Maintain food hygiene standards
  • Get involved in weekly meetings with other managers and senior management
  • This job will involve working across two small locations next to each other. Currently operating on 1 person each so you will be expected to be flexible enough to work at both.

What we are looking for in a Duty Manager:

  • A confident and enthusiastic person who is able to drive sales
  • Someone who is accountable for the entire running of the outlet
  • Someone who has experience in running a café
  • Experienced in working with specialty coffee
  • Excellent people skills - pleasant outgoing manner, confident and professional
  • Experience with managing a team
  • A passion for coffee
  • Experience in using Microsoft Office, including Teams, although training will be given

You must be willing and able to get to Liverpool James Street station for 06.30am so check this before applying.

Having your own transport would be preferable.

Although we're based on train stations, we often start before the trains! As our main customers are commuters, we have to be open and ready before they are!
