This is an exciting time to join us. We are preparing to open a second nursery site, creating new opportunities for growth, development and career progression within our organisation.

  • Potential future progression into Senior Practitioner, Room Leader and leadership roles

A Typical Day

No two days are ever the same.

You'll spend your day supporting children to learn, explore and develop through meaningful play and engaging experiences. From creative activities and sensory play to story time, outdoor adventures and supporting children's growing independence, you'll help create a nurturing environment where every child can thrive.

A key part of the role is contributing your own ideas. We encourage all team members to take an active role in planning activities, creating engaging learning experiences and helping shape the environment around the children. We believe the best ideas come from the people working directly with children every day.

The Role

As an Early Years Practitioner, you will:

  • Create a safe, warm and stimulating environment where children feel confident to learn and explore
  • Plan and deliver engaging activities that support all areas of children's development
  • Build positive, trusting relationships with children and their families
  • Support children's wellbeing, personal care and daily routines
  • Observe, assess and record children's progress in line with EYFS requirements
  • Maintain accurate records and contribute to high-quality learning journeys
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to provide exceptional care and education
  • Support nursery outings and occasional use of company vehicles where required
  • Contribute positively to our supportive and inclusive team culture

About You

We're looking for someone who is passionate about early years education and genuinely enjoys supporting young children to thrive.

You'll have:

  • A recognised Level 3 Early Years qualification
  • Experience working in a nursery or early years setting
  • A good understanding of the EYFS framework and child development
  • A warm, nurturing and child-centred approach
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
  • A positive attitude and willingness to contribute ideas
  • The ability to work both independently and as part of a team

A driving licence is desirable but not essential.

At The Working Mums Club, we're proud to create an environment where children feel safe, inspired and supported, and where employees can build rewarding careers doing work that truly matters.

As we continue to grow, we're looking for people who want to grow with us. Whether you're looking to build your experience, develop new skills or progress into a leadership role in the future, you'll be joining us at an exciting stage in our journey.

If you're looking for a role where you'll be valued, supported and given opportunities to develop within an ambitious and growing organisation, we'd love to hear from you.
