Front of House Supervisor Lurgan
Hospitality / Café Environment
Tuesday- Saturday (Days)

3 Peaks Recruitment is delighted to be recruiting for an experienced Front of House Supervisor on behalf of a well-established and highly regarded business based in Lurgan.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with experience across both front of house and kitchen operations within a busy café, coffee shop, restaurant or food service environment.

We are looking for someone who is hands-on, organised and confident supervising others, with a strong understanding of how both front-of-house service and kitchen operations work together to deliver an excellent customer experience.

The Role

As Front of House Supervisor, you will take responsibility for the smooth day-to-day running of the front-of-house operation while working closely with and supporting the kitchen team when required.Key responsibilities will include:

  • Overseeing the daily running of the front-of-house and counter area
  • Leading, supporting and motivating the front-of-house team
  • Ensuring customers receive a friendly, efficient and high-quality service
  • Working closely with the kitchen to ensure smooth and efficient service
  • Providing hands-on support within the kitchen when required
  • Managing customer queues and service during busy periods
  • Preparing and maintaining staff rotas and ensuring appropriate staffing levels
  • Training and supporting new and existing team members
  • Handling customer queries and complaints professionally and sensitively
  • Operating the till and ensuring the counter is fully prepared for service
  • Monitoring and replenishing stock, including drinks, coffee and food items
  • Following appropriate stock rotation procedures and monitoring stock levels
  • Ordering products and checking deliveries and invoices
  • Ensuring excellent standards of cleanliness and presentation across front-of-house and kitchen areas
  • Ensuring food hygiene, allergen, health & safety and other relevant regulations are followed
  • Recording staff hours accurately for payroll purposes
  • Monitoring key operational information including staffing ratios, stock rotation and breakages
  • Supporting menu planning and pricing where required

What We're Looking For

To be considered for this role, candidates should have:

Hands-on kitchen experience
Experience across both front-of-house and back-of-house operations
Previous supervisory, team leader or senior hospitality experience
A strong understanding of excellent customer service
Knowledge of food hygiene and health & safety requirements
Good awareness of food allergens and intolerances
The confidence to train, guide and support team members
Strong organisational and communication skills
The ability to remain calm and organised during busy service periods
A flexible, hands-on approach and willingness to support wherever needed

The Person

This role would suit an experienced hospitality professional who understands that great service depends on front of house and kitchen working together.

You'll be someone who leads by example, notices the small details and is equally comfortable dealing with customers, supervising staff or stepping in to support the kitchen when things get busy.

Flexibility will be required, as there may occasionally be a need to support at other locations or assist with evening functions.
