Café Supervisor – Full Time

Nourish, Wilmslow

We are looking for a full-time Café Supervisor to join our well-established healthy eating café in the heart of Wilmslow.

Nourish has been serving fresh, high-quality food for almost 11 years and continues to grow from strength to strength, with a loyal local following and customers travelling from surrounding areas.

This is a key role within the business. While the owner is present most days, you will be responsible for leading the team and maintaining the high standards of the café during any periods of absence. We are looking for someone who takes pride in their work and can ensure consistency, quality, and a great atmosphere at all times.

The Role

You will be responsible for:

  • Supporting the day-to-day running of the café
  • Leading the team and setting the tone on shift
  • Maintaining high standards of service, cleanliness, and presentation
  • Ensuring smooth communication between front of house and kitchen
  • Delivering a consistently excellent customer experience
  • Taking ownership of the café when required
  • Communicating with the kitchen regularly

Responsibilities include:

  • Opening and setting up the café
  • Serving customers and managing busy service periods
  • Preparing high-quality coffee and drinks
  • Using our till system (including cash handling)
  • Supporting and motivating the team
  • Maintaining a clean, organised environment throughout the day
  • Closing down and ensuring the café is ready for the next day

The Ideal Candidate

  • Previous supervisory or senior café experience is essential
  • Minimum 1 year barista experience
  • Confident leading a team and taking responsibility
  • Strong communication and organisational skills
  • Friendly, outgoing, and professional
  • Takes pride in maintaining high standards at all times
  • Thrives in a fast-paced environment

Hours

  • 5 days per week
  • Shifts between 7:00am – 4:30pm
  • Café open 7 days a week

What we’re really looking for

Someone who treats the café as if it were their own — ensuring that even when the owner is not present, the standards, service, and overall feel of Nourish remain exactly where they should be.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: £14.30 per hour

Expected hours: 30.0 – 35.0 per week
