Mini Meadows Farm is a lovely children’s farm park on the Leicestershire and Northamptonshire border. Nestled in 12 acres of rolling countryside in the village of Welford, Mini Meadows Farm provides a fun, educational and great value family day out for adults and children alike, whatever the weather.

We have a fantastic and busy little coffee shop and we need someone to head up and lead our front of house team.

We are open from 9am until 5pm daily so NO evenings required so this is a perfect hospitality job.

This is a hands-on role as we can get very busy during weekends and school holidays in particular. There is so much room for expansion with this side of the business, so bring your enthusiasm and ideas and let’s see what we can build together.

This is a full time role, 3 days during the week and alternate weekends.

Responsibilities:

Be a hands on supervisor, running the front of house operations for the cafe.

Have a calm, friendly yet professional persona.

Have experience of working within an establishment of a similar standard and an establishment that focuses on fresh food and excellent service.

Be a strong team player.

Be able to lead by example to ensure your high standards filter through your team.

Be fully responsible for staff management, training and development.

Some stock ordering but we will show you all of that, its really easy.

Helping to plan rotas to enable adequate cover.

Have Food Hygiene knowledge and practices.

Previous experience in a similar role

An immaculate appearance

To work well under pressure with the ability to multi task

Have knowledge of health and safety.

Preferably have Food Hygiene Level 2
