Job Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and passionate Cafe Chef to join our team preparing high quality fresh breakfasts, brunches, salads & sandwiches.

As a Cafe Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of food preparation, ensuring high-quality standards, and maintaining a vibrant, welcoming atmosphere. This role offers an exciting opportunity to showcase your culinary talents and contribute to the lively energy of our cafe environment.

Duties

  • Lead and supervise the food production process, ensuring all dishes meet quality and presentation standards
  • Prepare a variety of menu items with precision, creativity, and efficiency
  • Manage kitchen operations, including inventory control, ordering supplies, and maintaining cleanliness and safety protocols
  • Ensure adherence to food safety regulations and proper handling of ingredients at all times
  • Collaborate with front-of-house staff to deliver excellent serving experiences for guests
  • Monitor daily operations to optimize workflow, minimize waste, and maximize customer satisfaction

Experience

  • Experience in a fast-paced restaurant or cafe setting is preferred
  • Knowledge of food safety standards and regulations
  • Hands-on experience with food production, menu development, and kitchen management
  • Familiarity with restaurant operations, serving procedures, and customer service excellence

Pay: From £12.71 per hour
