Full job description

We are looking to recruit a highly experienced coffee shop supervisor to join our barista team.

PLEASE ONLY APPLY FOR THIS POSITION IF YOU HAVE THE RELEVANT EXPERIENCE ie barista/coffee shop supervisor.

Your key duties and responsibilities will be:

* Oversee day to day operation of the coffee shop.

* Coaching and mentoring a team of baristas

* Customer service is a priority for this role. We want to be known for our customer service, great coffee and delicious cakes & paninis.

* You will need to be a highly experienced barista and have good knowledge of speciality coffees and other hot and cold beverages.

* You must be able to deliver high quality sandwiches, paninis and other foods at a fast pace and also train staff to be able to do the same.

* Processing transactions on electronic till system

* Cash handling and reconciliation at the end of every shift

* Food displays are kept fully stocked at all times

* You will control all coffee shop associated costs and drive revenues through upselling.

* You will lead the performance of the coffee shop ensuring it is effectively managed through a focus on training, problem resolution and coaching.

* To be successful in this role the candidate must be flexible and multi-skilled as you may be asked to do different tasks to meet the guest’s needs. You will also need to be a highly organised individual with an eye for detail. This is a hands on role with high visibility. You must cope well under pressure and deal effectively with any crisis situations.

Pay: £12.21 per hour

Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week
