Full job description

Overview
Brunch Chef required for busy cafe - 7.45 to 3/5 . Occasional late night . Every Saturday and Sunday/ plus weekdays, rotas. Must have at least 4 years experience.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and cook fresh dishes in accordance with the cafes menu and standards,must be able to work solo
  • Maintain a clean and organised kitchen environment, adhering to food safety regulations.
  • Collaborate with the management team to develop new menu items and weekly specials.
  • Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and supplies , report to management
  • Ensure that all dishes are presented beautifully and meet quality standards before serving.

Skills

  • Proven experience as a Chef or Cook in a fast pace cafe or restaurant setting 4 years experience, used to working as sole kitchen Chef on quieter days.
  • Knowledge of food safety practices and regulations to maintain health standards.
  • Excellent organisational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a busy environment. Preparation is key.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team while also demonstrating independence when required.
  • A passion for cooking and pride in presentation
