Summary

We are seeking a Food Production Assistant to join our team in Gateshead. Based at our Team Valley location, this role is vital in supporting our food preparation processes, ensuring quality and safety standards are met, and contributing to our mission of excellent service and products.
Responsibilities

  • Assist in food preparation and production activities according to company standards.
  • Preparation of hot and cold buffet food.
  • Preparation of our pre packed café items such as freshly made sandwiches/wraps/salads.
  • Ensure compliance with HACCP and food safety regulations.
  • Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the food production area.
  • Support the team in meeting daily food production targets.
  • Follow all health and safety guidelines diligently.
  • Collaborate with team members to deliver high-quality service.
  • Qualifications
  • Knowledge of HACCP and food safety procedures.
  • Experience or familiarity with food production processes.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and cleanliness.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Previous experience in catering or food service is advantageous.
