Designed as a welcoming neighbourhood space, we combine high-quality food with relaxed hospitality and a vibrant park setting.

We're looking for an ambitious and passionate Brunch Chef who loves creating exceptional breakfast and brunch dishes using fresh, seasonal ingredients.

Working alongside the Senior Chef and wider kitchen team, you'll help develop menus, maintain high food standards and ensure every guest receives food they're excited to come back for.

This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a busy daytime service and enjoys cooking fresh, seasonal food from scratch.

  • Deliver fast, organised service during busy breakfast and lunch periods.
  • Ensure every plate leaves the kitchen looking exceptional.
  • Prepare mise en place to ensure smooth daily operations.
  • Assist with menu development and seasonal specials.
  • Support evening service where required.

Kitchen Operations

  • Maintain excellent food hygiene and cleanliness throughout service.
  • Follow all food safety, allergen and HACCP procedures.
  • Monitor stock levels and communicate ordering requirements.
  • Minimise food waste through effective preparation and stock rotation.
  • Ensure equipment is cared for and maintained.

What We're Looking For

Essential

  • Previous experience as a Brunch Chef, Breakfast Chef, Chef de Partie or similar.
  • Excellent knowledge of egg cookery.

  • Ability to work quickly without compromising quality.
  • Calm under pressure.
  • Strong organisational skills.
  • Excellent hygiene standards.
  • Positive attitude.
  • Reliable and punctual.

Desirable

  • Experience working with fresh, seasonal ingredients.
  • Experience in speciality coffee cafés or modern brunch restaurants.
  • Knowledge of sourdough breads.
  • Experience creating brunch specials.
  • Level 2 Food Safety Certificate.
  • Passion for local produce.
