Full job description

We require a kitchen porter/assistant to work at a very busy established Indian restaurant alongside four other chefs, we are based in heaton, Newcastle Upon Tyne. The candidate must have experience working in a restaurant/takeaway/kitchen environment and has an understanding about the food industry, hygiene, health and safety. The job will require washing crockery,cutlery,pots,pans and utensils. Also you will be required to assist the chefs with preparations and stocking when required. Full training will be provided.

Ideally, we would like someone who lives locally or can commute to work easily, and has experience working in an restaurant/Takeaway. However, this is not essential and we will consider individuals who are passionate about working within the food and catering business.

Desirable - Understanding of food hygiene and health & safety regulations

Pay: From £25,740.00 per year
