Full job description

This role is based in Formby.

At Optimum Group we pride ourselves on teamwork, delivering the perfect cup of coffee and making our guests experience one to remember. As a Barista you will join our family , delivering our values and enjoying the benefits we have to offer.

We are proud to be the North West franchise for Costa and currently have 26 stores in our portfolio. Our store in Kirkby has just been voted store of the Year out of all the franchise stores. We also have 2 Kaspas desserts stores and have recently been appointed as the franchisee for the North West for I Am Doner .

What we are looking for

You will have integrity, be an excellent communicator and a can do attitude is a must. You must be eager to learn and be able to excel and creating the perfect cup of coffee for each guest.

We are looking for someone who has experience is a fast paced environment, with preferable team work experience in customer facing environment.

The Role

As a Barista you will be friendly and approachable , flexible , and willing to exceed expectations to deliver fantastic results. Be open and honest with a positive can do attitude, taking a genuine interest in the business. You will also be responsible for the following:

  • Complete and pass all company training required for the role.
  • To operate the till inline with cash handling procedures.
  • To drive sales by replenishment of display/ fridges in line with guidance.
  • To be knowledgeable and confident about all products demonstrated by advising customers and answering questions.
  • Maintain high standards of health & safety and cleanliness across the store inline with cleaning schedules

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: £13.45-£14.00 per hour
