Our brand-new Wakefield facility combines indoor padel courts, a modern café and social area, Pilates studio, dedicated meeting rooms and co-working facilities.

Designed with a Mediterranean-inspired aesthetic, we're creating somewhere people can play, work, relax and connect.

As we prepare to open our Wakefield venue, we're looking for enthusiastic individuals to join the team and help bring this exciting new space to life.

The Role

We're looking for a confident, friendly and reliable Café Barista & Club Assistant to join our Wakefield team on a part-time basis.

Your primary responsibility will be running the café, preparing high-quality coffee, matcha and refreshments, and providing an exceptional customer experience.

However, this role is a little more varied than your typical barista position. You'll also help with the day-to-day running of the wider club, welcoming customers, assisting with meeting room bookings and ensuring our facilities remain welcoming, organised and well-presented.

We're looking for someone who enjoys meeting people, takes initiative and is comfortable working independently.

Previous barista or hospitality experience is preferred but not essential. Full training will be provided.

What You'll Be Doing

Café & Hospitality

• Preparing and serving high-quality coffee and refreshments. Providing friendly, professional customer service and creating a welcoming café atmosphere. Managing day-to-day café operations, including payments, stock presentation and maintaining a clean, organised workspace.

Club & Facility Support

• Welcoming members, visitors and meeting room guests to the facility. Assisting with meeting room bookings, including providing access, welcoming guests and checking rooms between bookings. Preparing and delivering refreshments to meeting rooms and co-working guests when required. Carrying out regular walk-arounds of the club, ensuring communal areas remain tidy, presentable and free from litter or discarded bottles. Assisting customers with club enquiries, racket hire and potential pro shop purchases. Supporting the wider team to ensure every visitor enjoys a premium experience.

What We're Looking For

• A positive, professional and approachable personality. Excellent communication and customer service skills. Reliable, organised and confident working independently. Someone proactive who takes pride in keeping their surroundings clean and presentable. An interest in coffee, hospitality, sport, fitness or wellness. A flexible, hands-on attitude and willingness to help wherever needed.

Most importantly, we're looking for someone with the right personality and work ethic who can become a welcoming face of the club.

Working Hours

We are recruiting for flexible, part-time positions, with shifts potentially available across seven days a week.

As this is a brand-new facility, café opening hours and shift patterns will initially be trialled and developed in line with customer demand.

Full flexibility is required, including availability for weekdays, evenings and weekends as the business develops.
