Breakfast & Brunch Chef

Honeycove Dessert Bar & Café is looking for a skilled and passionate Breakfast & Brunch Chef to join our growing team.

This role is ideal for someone with proven experience in a busy breakfast/brunch kitchen who takes pride in quality, consistency, and presentation. You will have full autonomy of your own kitchen

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and cook a variety of dishes while maintaining high culinary standards. Our menu features Breakfast, Brunch & Lunch Favourites, from classic Full English Breakfasts and Shakshuka to Salads, Waffles, Pasta, and Fish & Chips.
  • Manage inventory, including ordering supplies and minimising waste.
  • Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain cleanliness in the kitchen.
  • Collaborate with the Owner to develop new menu items and seasonal offerings.
  • Monitor food quality and presentation, making adjustments as necessary.
  • Work efficiently during busy service periods

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a breakfast/brunch chef (essential)
  • Strong knowledge of egg-based and brunch-style cooking
  • Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
  • Attention to detail and pride in presentation
  • Reliable, punctual, and a strong team player
  • Food hygiene certification preferred
