Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Restaurant Supervisor to oversee daily operations within our busy establishment. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a passion for hospitality, and a comprehensive understanding of food production and safety standards. This role offers an exciting opportunity to lead a team, ensure exceptional customer service, and maintain high standards of quality and efficiency in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of restaurant staff, including servers, kitchen personnel, and baristas.
  • Oversee food preparation, ensuring adherence to recipes, presentation standards, and food safety regulations.
  • Manage the service process from order taking to delivery, ensuring excellent customer experience.
  • Monitor stock levels and assist with ordering supplies to maintain smooth operations.
  • Enforce health and safety policies, including food safety protocols and hygiene standards.
  • Train new staff members and provide ongoing coaching to enhance team performance.
  • Handle customer enquiries or complaints professionally and promptly.
  • Collaborate with management on menu planning, promotional activities, and operational improvements.

Skills

  • Proven experience in restaurant management or supervisory roles within hospitality settings.
  • Strong knowledge of food production, cooking techniques, food preparation, and serving procedures.
  • Previous experience in kitchen environments or culinary roles is highly desirable.
  • Leadership qualities with the ability to motivate and supervise staff effectively.
  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Sound understanding of food safety standards and regulations.
  • Experience in hospitality or restaurant settings, including barista experience is advantageous.
  • Effective communication skills to liaise with team members and customers professionally. This position provides an engaging environment for those passionate about delivering outstanding dining experiences while developing their managerial expertise within the hospitality industry.

Pay: £12.86-£14.86 per hour
