Full job description

We’re a busy, daytime café based in a beautiful garden centre in Ledsham. Since opening in the summer of 2021, we have been known for great coffee, fresh food, and a strong base of regular customers.

It’s a fast-paced but friendly environment — especially during weekend rushes — so we’re looking for someone confident, reliable, and great with people to join the team.

Position: Server/Barista
Shifts: Daytime shifts only (no late nights)
Location: Sprout Kitchen Garden, Ledsham Lane, Ledsham, CH66 0NB
Hours: 5 days per week (including weekends), with 2 days off during the week

Start Date: ASAP

Responsibilities:

  • This role will be a mixture of server shifts and barista shifts
  • During your barista shifts you will be expected to prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, ensuring consistency and quality with every cup
  • During your server shifts you will be expected to provide exceptional customer service, engaging with guests to create a welcoming and memorable experience
  • Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the café area, including equipment and supplies
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient operations during busy periods

Requirements:

  • Previous experience as a barista in a fast-paced café environment
  • Proficiency in espresso preparation, milk frothing, and latte art
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to thrive in a high-pressure, customer-focused atmosphere
  • Flexible availability, including weekends
