The Wilson Street Pantry is a brunch cafe located in Merchant City, Glasgow.

This is a day time role

We are currently hiring a brunch chef/food person to join our kitchen team. Experience working in a professional kitchen whilst desired, is not essential. The most important thing is having the right attitude and showing commitment to the job.

The Wilson Street Pantry is a busy kitchen which focuses on brunch. Kitchen is open until 4pm daily, whilst there are prep and cleaning duties after 4pm, this is a daytime position.

Requirements

Experience working in a professional kitchen

A genuine passion for food

Competency in general running of the kitchen, including maintaining cleanliness standards and completing HACCP checks

Level 2 Food Hygiene qualification

Punctuality and flexibility with working hours

Personally presentable, the kitchen is an open kitchen, you must be clean and presentable at all times

Flexibility & availability to work weekends is a must.

Applications are invited for Part-Time (18 hours+ p/week).
