Café Fortune - Starbucks Licensee | Store Based

Reports To: Shift Supervisor / Assistant Store Manager / Store Manager

Location: Store Based

Contract: Full time and part time available

Salary: < 21 - £10.85 / 21+ £12.71

The Role

As a Barista at Cafe Fortune, you're the reason customers come back. You'll make great drinks, build genuine connections with the people who walk through the door, and be part of a team that takes the job seriously while having fun doing it.

This isn't just a job making coffee. It's a role where you'll learn, develop and, if you want to progress. Many of our supervisors, assistant managers and store managers started exactly where you're starting now.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Making and serving Starbucks drinks and food to the highest quality and presentation standards
  • Creating genuine, warm customer connections, remembering regulars, anticipating needs, making people feel welcome
  • Working as part of a team to keep the store running smoothly, cleanly and efficiently
  • Following food safety, health and safety and operational procedures, every time, not just when it's convenient
  • Taking ownership of your section and your shift, if something needs doing, you do it
  • Being open to feedback, taking it on board and using it to get better
  • Supporting your teammates during busy periods without being asked
