Chip Shop Team Member (Prep & Service)

Corrieri's Café, Stirling

Part-Time | Monday, Wednesday, Thursday & Friday | 10:00am – 4:00pm
Sunday availability desirable

Corrieri's Café has been serving the people of Stirling for generations and remains one of the city's best-loved family businesses. We're looking for a dependable, hardworking team member to join our chip shop and help maintain the quality and standards we're known for.

This is a hands-on role focused on preparing the chip shop for service, delivering a busy lunchtime trade and ensuring everything is ready for the evening team.

What you'll be doing:

  • Preparing fresh potatoes for daily service, including peeling and chipping.
  • Mixing and preparing batter to our recipes and standards.
  • Preparing, setting up and maintaining fryers.
  • Organising prep areas and ensuring all stock is ready for service.
  • Cooking and serving food during our busy lunchtime period (12pm–3pm).
  • Delivering friendly, efficient customer service.
  • Maintaining exceptional food hygiene and cleanliness standards.
  • Cleaning equipment, fryers and preparation areas.
  • Setting the chip shop up for the evening service.
  • Assisting with deliveries and stock rotation when required.

We're looking for someone who:

  • Enjoys working in a fast-paced food environment.
  • Is reliable, punctual and takes pride in their work.
  • Works well within a team.
  • Has good attention to detail and a strong work ethic.
  • Has previous experience in a fish & chip shop, takeaway or commercial kitchen (preferred but not essential).
  • Is willing to learn and maintain high food safety standards.
  • Can work additional Sunday shifts when required.
