Job Summary

We are seeking a friendly and efficient Waitress/Barista to join our vibrant team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about delivering excellent customer service, creating a welcoming atmosphere, and preparing high-quality beverages and food. The successful applicant will be responsible for taking orders, serving customers, preparing drinks, and maintaining cleanliness standards throughout the premises.

Duties

  • Greet customers warmly and take their orders accurately
  • Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, including coffee, tea, and specialised drinks
  • Serve food items in accordance with safety and quality standards
  • Ensure all food safety regulations are adhered to at all times
  • Handle cash transactions and operate the till efficiently
  • Maintain cleanliness of work areas, tables, and service stations
  • Assist in food preparation when necessary, following health and safety guidelines
  • Manage multiple tables efficiently during busy periods while maintaining excellent customer service
  • Restock supplies as needed to ensure smooth operation during shifts
  • Provide friendly advice on menu options to enhance customer experience

Experience

  • Previous experience as a Barista and a similar hospitality role is essential; training will be provided for the right candidate
  • Knowledge of food safety standards is advantageous
  • Experience in serving customers in a fast-paced environment is desirable
  • Basic maths skills for handling cash transactions accurately
  • Strong time management skills to prioritise tasks effectively and serve customers promptly
