PLAY * EAT * PARTY

Kids' Indoor Play Area & Explorers' Cafe

We require a CAFE COOK (full or part time) on a permanent basis to prepare food and work in our “Explorers’ Café” in Jungle Kingdom (Kids' soft play). We offer a simple, healthy and appealing menu.

In order to be considered for this exciting role you must:

· Work well under pressure

· Have 1+ years experience of working in a busy kitchen environment

· Be reliable and hard working

· Be a team player who can also demonstrate initiative

· Be capable of preparing, presenting and serving food to a high standard

· Ideally have previous experience of working in a busy kitchen

· Hold a valid Food Hygiene certificate (Level 2) or equivalent

· Be able to deliver Jungle Kingdom's high operational standards

· Be able to work as part of the team and assist with serving in the Café, tidying tables and offering excellent customer service.

· Have a fun & flexible attitude to work

· A willingness to learn.

Shift patterns working up to 4 or 5 out of 7 days a week will include weekend working and Bank Holidays. generally working one weekend on/ one weekend off. You will also need to be available to work during school holiday periods. You will work approximately 3-4 days per week in the kitchen preparing food and 1-2 days per week in the cafe serving food and coffees & with general play centre duties. Generally working daily from 9:00am-5:00pm plus extra hours when required and/ or desired. We also close over Christmas, New Years Day and Easter Sunday.
