Welcome to Alice's – the home of speciality coffee and baked goods in Lyndhurst!

With three already buzzing locations across West Quay, Woolston and Guildhall, we’ve built our reputation on serving up fresh, honest food and exceptional home-roasted coffee, all in beautifully designed spaces full of character and community. We are excited to be opening Alice's - could you be our next coffee superstar?

We’re currently on the lookout for 2 experienced Baristas/All-Rounders to join our team.

We are flexible on hours - you could be full time, or part time.

ROLE OVERVIEW: As a Barista at Alice's, you enter the realm of hands-on coffee craftsmanship under the mentorship of our seasoned Cafe Manager. This role is designed for individuals with some initial exposure to coffee preparation or a strong enthusiasm for developing their skills. You will actively contribute to the daily operations of the coffee shop, refining your expertise in delivering exceptional coffee and engaging with customers.

BARISTA KEY ATTRIBUTES

The role would be best suited to an individual who can demonstrate:

Passionate Learner: Possess a genuine enthusiasm for coffee and a strong desire to deepen your knowledge in the art of barista craft.

Customer Focus: Develop and apply customer service skills, ensuring patrons experience the welcoming and quality-oriented ethos of Mettricks & Alice's.

Adaptability: Embrace the dynamic nature of the coffee shop environment, participating in various tasks and duties as required.

Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with fellow team members, contributing positively to the overall team dynamic.

Quality Driven: Commit to upholding the high standards of coffee quality and beverage preparation.
