About Us: The Green Room Cafe is a newly established, vibrant, and welcoming space where customers can enjoy high-quality coffee, delicious food, and a friendly atmosphere. As we grow, we’re looking for enthusiastic and dedicated individuals to join our team. There is plenty of room for growth and additional responsibilities, with opportunities for increased pay.

Job Description: We are seeking a motivated and customer-focused Cafe Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about delivering excellent service and ensuring our customers have a memorable experience every time they visit.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and Serve Coffee: Skillfully (Training available!) make a variety of coffee drinks, including espresso, cappuccino, latte, and other beverages.
  • Customer Service: Greet and interact with customers warmly, ensuring they feel welcome. Serve food and beverages efficiently and with a smile.
  • Table Management: Clear and clean tables promptly to maintain a tidy and inviting environment.
  • Cleaning Duties: Regularly clean and sanitize the cafe area, including tables, countertops, and equipment, to ensure a safe and hygienic environment.
  • Support Team: Assist colleagues during busy periods and contribute to the overall smooth operation of the cafe.

Qualifications:

  • Experience in a cafe, restaurant, or customer service environment is an advantage but not essential.
  • Excellent communication skills and a friendly demeanor.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of customer service.
  • Willingness to learn and take on new responsibilities.
  • Flexibility to work different shifts, including weekends.
