Duties

  • Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, teas, and other drinks according to established recipes and customer preferences
  • Engage with customers warmly, taking orders accurately and providing friendly, efficient service
  • Maintain food safety standards by adhering to proper hygiene practices and cleanliness protocols
  • Assist in food preparation tasks such as assembling pastries or snacks to complement beverage offerings
  • Manage cash register transactions with basic math skills, ensuring accurate billing and change handling
  • Keep the work area tidy, organized, and sanitized throughout your shift to promote a safe environment
  • Effectively manage your time during busy periods to serve customers promptly and reduce wait times

Qualifications

  • Prior experience as a Barista or in serving roles is preferred but not required; enthusiasm and willingness to learn are essential
  • Knowledge of food safety procedures and standards is highly desirable
  • Ability to perform basic math accurately for transactions and inventory checks
  • Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during peak hours
  • Excellent communication skills with a positive attitude toward customer service
  • Ability to stand for extended periods, walk comfortably around the workspace, and lift moderate loads when necessary
  • Experience with food preparation or handling is a plus but not mandatory
