Responsibilities

  • Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, including coffee, tea, and specialised drinks, adhering to company standards.
  • Ensure food safety standards are consistently maintained throughout all food and beverage preparation processes.
  • Greet customers warmly, take their orders accurately, and provide friendly service to enhance the customer experience.
  • Handle cash transactions accurately using the point-of-sale system and manage customer payments efficiently.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organisation of workstations, including cleaning equipment and utensils regularly.
  • Restock supplies as needed to ensure smooth daily operations.
  • Follow health and safety regulations diligently to uphold a safe working environment for staff and customers.
  • Assist with food preparation tasks when required, supporting the overall operation of the shop.

Skills

  • Proven experience as a Barista or in a similar serving role is desirable but not essential; training will be provided for the right candidate.
  • Knowledge of food safety standards and procedures is advantageous.
  • Ability to serve customers courteously while managing multiple tasks efficiently.
  • Basic maths skills for handling cash transactions accurately.
  • Excellent time management skills to prioritise tasks during busy periods.
