Full job description

Job Title: Front of House Assistant (Canteen / Contract Catering)
Location: North London, London
Job Type: Full-time, Monday to Friday
Hours: 6:00am-4:00pm (no evenings or weekends)
Start Date: May (trial shifts may take place at another site)
Pay: Competitive, depending on experience

Job Overview:
We are looking for a reliable and customer-focused Front of House Assistant to join a busy onsite canteen within a contract catering environment. This role includes both customer service and basic kitchen support.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serving hot food and preparing sandwiches
  • Making coffees and handling drinks service
  • Taking orders and providing friendly, efficient service
  • Supporting the kitchen with basic prep
  • Keeping the front of house area clean and organised

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in catering, café, or similar role preferred
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Comfortable in a fast-paced environment
  • Reliable and punctual
  • Food Hygiene Certificate required
