We are looking for a chef to join a local, established, busy day time only restaurant serving an all fresh food menu.
A really lovely business and bunch of people to work for they need a commercially minded chef able to manage stock, the GP, costs & budgets and compliance & legislation. Working alongside the cafe manager you will have input into the menu.
You will need your own transport to get here.

CHEF - IS THIS YOU?
- Experience as a chef gained working in busy restaurants, cafes, coffee shops, pubs etc
- A background preparing and cooking fresh food
- The ability to order & control stock and manage GPs', costs & budgets
- Menu design and costing skills
- A hands-on approach
- Excellent organisation, people management and customer service skills
CHEF - YOU WILL:
- Work alongside the cafe manager taking responsibility for all kitchen operations
- Prepare and cook the menu
- Manage the GP, stock, costs & budgets
- Maintain high levels of cleanliness, organisation and kitchen safety measures
- Ensure all compliance, legislation and company systems & procedures are adhered to
- Have input into the menu
