Full job description

The is a fantastic opportunity for an ambitious Front of House Manager, overseeing the day to day operations of the Ironworks Café, Afternoon Tea service, and Garden bar; including all operations, from management of the front of house team, to service and quality ensuring the best possible standards for our visitors. The role is permanent, full time between the hours of 8.30am -5pm Tuesday to Saturday.

The Ironworks is a dynamic family destination which encompasses retail, sculpture and food & beverage operations. The Ironwork's is multifaceted, with different teams managing different aspects to ensure the highest standards and quality are maintained.

This will be a great opportunity for an existing experienced manager wishing to work within an ambitious setting. The Ironwork's continues to develop and evolve so there will be future development for the right person, with an excellent working environment and team culture.

Responsibilities:

  • Overseeing the hospitality setting and continually driving the best possible standard of food and beverage
  • Develop relationships with our visitors and members, ensuring the highest standard of customer service
  • Managing all aspects of running a dynamic hospitality setting
  • Ordering and stock control, rotas and team management
  • Front of house duties including driving sales and standards
  • having lots of creative freedom to introduce new menu items and seasonal offers
  • Maintaining hygiene and health and safety standards

Required skills and attributes

We will provide training, however we are looking for someone with experience with speciality coffee and cafe management.

  • Must be confident and passionate about what you do
  • Must be proactive and organised
  • Must be able to multitask and manage your time well
  • Must be able to work Saturdays. (Days off Sunday and Monday)
