Full job description

Rhug Estate Farm Shop and Cafe are looking for assistants to join our growing team. For the farm shop you will be required to serve customers on the till, implement stock rotation, product pricing, merchandising and deal with customer queries. For the café role you will be required to serve customers, take orders, prepare orders, and follow in-depth food hygiene and cleaning practises.

To be successful in these roles you must have exceptional customer service skills, be polite, respectful and hard working. During the summer months we can see up to 3,000 tourists through our doors each day and it can therefore be a very busy place to work, so you must be able to cope well under pressure in such circumstances, as well as working well as part of your team.

The positions we have available are:

- Farm shop assistants

- Café assistant/ Barista

Shift hours typically range between 8am-6pm 7 days a week but can fall outside these on occasion. Weekend availability is essential, although this is always done as fairly as possible, for example, 1 weekend day in, 1 weekend day off or 1 full weekend in, 1 full weekend off. Bank holiday work is also required unless booked off in plenty of advance.

Full time and part time positions available.
