Requirements for Cafe Manager

· Previous experience as a Supervisor

· Experience of supervising a busy café or restaurant is essential, with strong communication skills

· ability to inspire & assist training other team members.

· A positive, welcoming attitude and good communication skills

· Commitment to delivering a high level of customer service

· Excellent personal presentation standards

· Ability to work effectively and positively as part of a team

· Fluent in English both verbally and written

· Catering background ideally from a contract catering or branded coffee/cafe environment

· Retail and commercial skills are a must

· Motivated to deliver consistently high standards of food and service quality

· Friendly and approachable, with the management skills to develop and manage a team

· Experience of working in a fast-paced environment

· MUST be able to work both weekday and weekend between 9am and 5.30pm. times are variable depending on season and weather.

Responsibilities for Cafe Manager

· You will manage your employees and ensure you maximise the performance of your team

· Leading by example and setting high standards

· This is a hands-on role where you will have to focus on increasing sales and controlling the stock, wastage and labour.

· You will need to build an excellent relationship with the client making sure their needs, as well as contractual needs, are met to the highest standard possible.

· You will be responsible for the day to day running of the site opening and closing

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: £14.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week
