Full job description

Job Summary

As a Barista & Deli Assistant, you will play an important role in creating a warm, welcoming, and efficient experience for every customer. You will be responsible for preparing high-quality coffee and beverages, while sometimes also supporting the Deli team with food prep, serving customers, maintaining excellent presentation standards, and supporting the smooth day-to-day running of the café and deli.

Outstanding customer service is at the heart of this role. We are looking for someone who is friendly, attentive, reliable, and willing to work hard as part of a team. Consistency, cleanliness, attention to detail, and the ability to remain organised in a busy environment are essential.

The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic, customer-focused, and take pride in maintaining high standards at all times. An interest in wine would be a strong advantage and is encouraged, although it is not essential.

Working hours are Monday to Friday, with shifts scheduled between approximately 6:30 am and 4:00–5:00 pm.
