Full job description

Overview
We're on the hunt for an individual who is passionate about great coffee, to join us. We are a small village coffee shop selling pastries, toasties, cakes and bread. We have a great team at Juniper and are looking for a confident individual to run the shop for us at weekends.

As a Barista, you will be the face of our establishment, responsible for crafting high-quality coffees and providing great customer service. If you have a love for coffee and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, we would love to hear from you.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold drinks
  • Run the coffee shop smoothly and lead a team
  • Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the work area
  • Engage with customers to take orders
  • Manage time effectively to ensure timely service during peak hours

What we're looking for

  • Previous barista experience essential
  • Retail/customer service experience
  • Knowledge of food safety practices
  • Strong time management abilities to handle multiple tasks efficiently
  • Someone who is friendly, motivated and organised
  • Solely weekend support
