Weekend Café AssistantJoin our team at the Bob-in Café

The Bob-in Café, part of New Barns Caravan Park on the outskirts of Arnside, is a busy, family-run café popular with our park members, local customers and visitors from much further afield.

We have a friendly, sociable team and we’re looking for a reliable, hard-working person to join us at weekends.

We work hard and the café can get very busy, but we have plenty of fun along the way too. Everyone works together and gets stuck in when needed.

The role

This is a varied, hands-on café role. You’ll be expected to:

  • Welcome and serve customers in a friendly and professional manner
  • Use our coffee machine and prepare coffees and speciality drinks
  • Operate the till and handle customer payments
  • Serve food and drinks
  • Clear and clean tables
  • Help with pot washing and kitchen cleaning
  • Keep work areas clean, tidy and organised
  • Support the team during busy service

About you

We’re looking for someone who is:

  • Reliable, punctual and hard-working
  • Friendly, confident and well presented
  • Comfortable dealing with customers
  • Able to listen, learn and follow instructions
  • Happy working as part of a busy team
  • Willing to get stuck in wherever needed
  • Available to work weekends

Previous café or hospitality experience is useful, but attitude, reliability and a willingness to learn are just as important.
