About Us

The Role
We’re looking for a Production Assistant to join our food production team, supporting our chefs and bakers to prepare, portion and pack the food that supplies our coffee shops and wholesale customers. This is a hands-on, fast-paced role where quality, food safety and teamwork really matter.

This role is 37.5 hours per week, from 7am-3pm, 5 days per week

What You’ll Do

  • Support chefs and bakers with food prep and basic production tasks

  • Portion, label and pack products for delivery

  • Follow recipes, specs and production plans

  • Carry out food safety, temperature and hygiene checks

  • Keep the kitchen, equipment and work areas clean and organised

  • Help with stock rotation, deliveries and storage

  • Work to production deadlines and quality standards

  • Follow all Honesty Group food safety and health & safety procedures

What We’re Looking For

  • Previous kitchen or food production experience (helpful but not essential – full training provided)

  • A positive, reliable team player

  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment

  • Good attention to detail and pride in doing things properly

  • Willingness to learn and develop food production skills

  • Flexible to work early starts / shift patterns if required

What You’ll Get

  • Secure employment contract

  • Pay aligned with National Living Wage

  • Full training and development opportunities

  • Free meal on duty

  • 20% off all Honesty products

  • Discounted Cookery School courses

  • Employee Wellness Programme (workshops, challenges and wellbeing resources)

Progression
Many of our chefs, bakers, supervisors and managers started in entry-level roles. We love supporting people to grow within production, front of house, and across the wider business.
