Full job description

Role Overview

We are looking for a reliable and professional Taxi Call Centre Agent to join our busy operations team. The successful candidate will be responsible for handling customer bookings, assisting drivers, monitoring jobs, and ensuring excellent customer service is delivered at all times.

This is a fast-paced role requiring strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to remain calm under pressure.

Key Responsibilities

  • Answer incoming customer calls professionally and courteously.
  • Take taxi bookings accurately using the dispatch system.
  • Provide customers with estimated arrival times and fare estimates.
  • Assist customers with booking amendments and enquiries.
  • Monitor live bookings and dispatch jobs efficiently.
  • Communicate with drivers regarding bookings and operational issues.
  • Handle customer complaints and escalate where necessary.
  • Update customer records and booking information.
  • Ensure all bookings comply with company procedures.
  • Maintain a high level of customer service at all times.
  • Support the operations team with general administrative tasks when required.

Pay: £12.71 per hour
