Job Summary

We are seeking a talented and passionate Photographer to capture the vibrant spirit of Fleadh 2026. This role involves documenting our clients operational event through high-quality imagery, engaging with diverse audiences via social media, and contributing to the visual storytelling of this prestigious festival.

The ideal candidate will possess a keen eye for detail, excellent technical skills, and a flair for creative storytelling.

This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to showcase your photography skills on a prominent platform while working within a dynamic team environment.

Responsibilities

  • Capture high-quality photographs throughout Fleadh 2026, including performances, candid moments, and audience interactions.
  • Edit and enhance images using Adobe Photoshop, Capture One, and other Adobe Creative Suite tools to ensure professional presentation.
  • Collaborate with event organisers and media teams to ensure coverage aligns with branding and promotional goals.
  • Maintain organised archives of all visual content for future use in marketing materials or publications.
  • Stay adaptable during the event to capture spontaneous moments that reflect the festival’s atmosphere.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in photography, with a strong portfolio demonstrating event coverage and creative storytelling.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator and Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Knowledge of photo editing techniques to optimise images for various platforms and formats.
  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to work efficiently under pressure during live events.
  • Strong communication skills to liaise effectively with team members and external partners.
  • A passion for cultural events, music festivals, or journalism is desirable but not essential.
  • Ability to work flexible hours during Fleadh 2026 and travel as required within Belfast City Centre.
