Job description

We are expanding our team and looking for a new star chef to help work a busy and growing independent country pub kitchen - cooking from our exciting menu range.

This is a brilliant opportunity for someone with passion and enthusiasm for food to develop their knowledge and ability further under our Head Chef and his team.
Working effectively and flexibly as part of a team is essential here in order to deliver the high standards we expect from everyone.

Responsibilities and Duties
Assisting everyday food service, preparation of food, keeping the kitchen clean and tidy to the high expectations understanding orders and wastage control. Working well within a team.

Own transport or Very Local
Qualifications and Skills
2 years experience minimum
NVQ & Level 2 food hygiene

Full-time hours 30-40+
Part-Time hours 14-20

Job Duties:

  • Prepare all food items as directed in a sanitary and timely manner
  • Follow recipes and presentation specifications
  • Operate standard kitchen equipment safely and efficiently
  • Maintain a clean working station whilst adhering to health & safety standards
  • Assist with the cleaning and organisation of kitchen and equipment
  • Restock items as needed throughout the shift
  • Adhere to all food hygiene & safety standards

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent

Pay: £13.00-£13.50 per hour
