Overview

We are looking for a passionate and driven content creator & editor to join our marketing team. you will get the chance to work closely with our new car brands, including two of the UK's fastest-growing car brands, OMODA, JAECOO, and Lepas. You will have the opportunity to take part in the social media content production process, from coming up with ideas to producing, editing and releasing regular content.

You will be the face and voice behind our channels, growing our social presence. You will know how to engage a social media audience via video and imagery, and be able to confidently place yourself on camera, follow a brief, meet deadlines, and help guide the creative process by sharing ideas and keeping the team up to date on what's trending. Above all, you'll have a passion for all things social. This is a great stepping stone into a social media career, with the chance to build a genuine career in the industry.

Duties

• Capture multiple types of video and photo content for a variety of social platforms.
• Present and appear on camera confidently for content including, but not limited to, vehicle promotional videos, workshop features, staff interviews and behind-the-scenes content.
• Own the post-production process of what is captured; you will create the final edit and ensure all posts meet company and manufacturer commercial standards & guidelines
• Attend events, product launches and promotions to capture content on the day.
• Manage day-to-day posting schedules and engage with our audience by responding to build engagement.
• Work with the wider team to source content opportunities, such as new stock arrivals, completed jobs, customer stories and events.

What we are looking for (About you)

• Confident on camera and comfortable representing the brand in public-facing content.
• Strong short-form storytelling and copywriting that entertains and converts.
• A genuine interest in all things social, with an understanding of the basics of what content works on which platforms.
• Willing to learn, full training will be provided, so previous experience in a similar role is not essential
• An interest in the automotive industry is advantageous
• Self-motivated and comfortable working with a good degree of independence.
