Delivery Driver (Van Provided) – Self-Employed

Company: Ecodrive Logistics

Earnings: Up to £160 per day + VAT + Performance Bonuses

Location: DHU2 - North Ferriby (HU14)

Shifts: Flexible schedule (Full-time & Part-time available) | 10:00 AM – 7:00 PM

Your Daily Role

As a Delivery Associate, you will be the face of our region's logistics network. You will:

  • Load pre-sorted parcels into your provided van at the local depot.
  • Follow optimized, sequence-guided GPS routing on your provided mobile device.
  • Safely deliver packages to residential and commercial addresses.
  • Maintain a safety-first mindset while delivering excellent customer service.

What You Need to Qualify

Due to fleet insurance and operational requirements, all applicants must meet the following criteria:

  • Age: Must be 21 or older.
  • License: Minimum 1 year holding a Full UK Driving License.
  • License Points: Maximum of 6 active points (No active DR, DD, or IN endorsements).
  • Background: Must be willing to undergo a standard background check
  • Physical Capability: Ability to lift and carry parcels up to 20kg and comfortably step in/out of a delivery van throughout a 9-hour shift.
  • Availability: Must be willing to work at least one weekend day.

Application question(s):

  • The role requires occasionally lifting packages up to 20kg and regularly getting in/out of a van up to 200 times a day. Are you comfortable with this level of physical activity for a 9 hour shift?
  • Are you at least 21 years old (For Insurance Purposes) and have held a valid Full UK driver’s manual license for longer than 1 year?
  • We operate 7 days a week. Are you available to work at least one weekend day (Saturday or Sunday) every week?

Please state your weekend availability for this role:

  • If you finish your route 1 hour early, are you willing to go and rescue a teammate who is struggling with their volume to ensure the team hits its delivery targets?
  • Do you have less than 6 points on your license? (Note: We cannot accept candidates with IN10, DR, or CD endorsements due to insurance requirements)
