Job Summary

Duties

  • Inspect vehicles thoroughly using schematics and technical manuals to identify mechanical issues accurately
  • Perform repairs and maintenance on various vehicle systems including engines, brakes, transmissions, and suspension
  • Use hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and assembly techniques to execute repairs efficiently
  • Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical diagrams to guide repair processes
  • Conduct heavy lifting tasks safely when handling engine components or other heavy parts
  • Maintain detailed records of repairs performed, parts used, and diagnostic findings for each vehicle
  • Provide exceptional customer service by explaining repairs clearly and offering maintenance advice to clients

Experience

  • Proven experience as a Car Mechanic or similar role in an automotive repair environment
  • Strong mechanical knowledge across different vehicle makes and models
  • Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and assembly techniques
  • Familiarity with schematics, technical diagrams, and automotive maintenance manuals
  • Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and operate various workshop equipment effectively
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail during diagnostics and repairs
  • Prior experience in customer service within an automotive setting is preferred but not mandatory
