Car Park Supervisor: Millwall FC Car Parks (London)

Location: The Den, Bermondsey, London SE16

Contract: Zero-hour, flexible shifts

Role: Event Supervisor (Car Park Operations)

Pay rate: £14.50 per hour

Run the Car Parks on Millwall Matchdays

We operate the onsite car parks for Millwall FC, and we’re looking for a confident, hands-on Car Park Supervisor to lead a team of three on home fixtures throughout the season. This is a genuinely hands-on leadership role. You’ll get stuck in alongside your team, not just direct from the sidelines.

Your Role

As an Car Park Supervisor, you’ll take charge of the car park operation on matchdays, making sure it runs safely, smoothly, and to a high standard, including:

  • Leading, briefing, and supporting a small team of car park staff on the day
  • Leading by example and working alongside the team
  • Using our ANPR system to manage vehicle entry, permits, and payments
  • Overseeing the flow of vehicles into, within, and out of the car parks, and resolving issues as they arise
  • Providing excellent customer service and building rapport with regular customers, fans, and residents
  • Liaising with the club and site management as the main point of contact, keeping them updated and responding to queries
  • Coordinating the setting out and collection of signage, cones, and barriers
  • Monitoring staff performance, welfare, and breaks throughout the shift
  • Responding calmly and professionally to incidents, complaints, or unexpected issues
  • Completing required paperwork, incident reports, and briefing/debriefing duties

What We’re Looking For

  • Full, valid UK driving licence (preferred)
  • Available for all or most home fixtures throughout the season (essential)
  • Strong leadership skills, with confidence briefing, motivating, and managing a small team
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills: friendly, approachable, and able to build rapport with customers
  • Confident liaising with clients and site management
  • Comfortable using technology, with training provided on our ANPR system
  • Hands-on and physically fit, able to lift and carry signage, cones, and barriers and be on your feet for extended periods
  • A confident decision-maker who can think on their feet and take ownership of problems
  • Reliable and happy to work outdoors in all weather, including cold, wet, and dark conditions
  • Previous car park, traffic management, matchday, or event experience is a bonus
