  • Ensure sales performance processes and systems are as robust as possible- monitoring progress and maximizing productivity whilst motivating your team.
  • Manage sales team development, performance and recruitment, monitoring training needs and providing hands on coaching as part of your own career objectives
  • Maximise commercial opportunities through providing advice to sales and aftersales executives and sign-off on key issues such as customer discounts and approvals for used car purchases
  • Plan and implement effective local promotions, dealership displays and advertising campaigns in collaboration with the Centre Principal and marketing team
  • Manage the supply of used car stock effectively in line with centre guidelines and goals
  • Understand the relevant local market, competition, and consumer influences, analyse a variety of commercial data and work with the dealership management to ensure the success and growth of the centre
  • Be a core member of the centres team, observe and lead by example, ensuring all opportunities are captured and customers’ needs are met by the most appropriate member of your team.

Experience and Qualifications

  • Good level of general education - at least GCSE English and Maths and ideally A-Levels or an equivalent qualification
  • IT skills, (MS Word, PowerPoint and Excel) and social media skills
  • Proven prior experience in a similar role in the automotive industry
  • Successful track record of delivering outstanding results as well as delivering exceptional customer satisfaction
