Pumaspeed have an exciting opportunity, we are looking for an experienced dispatch operative who has a passion for, and knowledge of the automotive industry.

The heart and main focus of the business is in “Fast Fords” – ST and RS models mostly. However, in the recent years we have expanded our business to include other brands such as BMW, Toyota and VAG. The business has since expanded into a number of other automotive sectors such as Recovery Trucks and Winches which allows further expansion.

Your days will be incredibly varied however you will get involved with the following:

• Ensuring customer orders are dispatched safely and efficiently
• Speaking with customers about items that are on back order/delayed
• Keeping tabs on stock levels, ordering in “bread and butter” parts when needed
• Looking at the calendar and ensuring diary bookings have available parts
• Taking ownership over the dispatch area, you will be the go-to person for anything entering, or leaving the building
• Dealing with order returns, supplier deliveries and stock management

As a dispatch operative you’ll more than likely have some experience in a similar position, and have worked with a company such as an aftermarket parts provider/supplier and tuning company. Here’s what we’re looking for:

• Experience of working within a dispatch focused environment
• A passion for, and knowledge of the aftermarket tuning sector and/or cars
• High work ethic, you will own the dispatch area, treat it as your own, develop it, change it how you see fit, but most importantly OWN IT
• A “want” to provide the best customer service possible to our customers
• Experience of communicating with customers over phone, social media and/or e-mail.
