Job Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Healthcare Assistant to join our team. In this role, you will provide essential support to service users in their own homes within the community, assisting with daily activities and ensuring their comfort and well-being. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, be proficient in IT, and have the ability to follow care plans effectively.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
• Support patients in daily living activities, including meal preparation and feeding.
• Monitor and record patient health information as directed by healthcare professionals.
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and the healthcare team to ensure continuity of care.
• Follow care plans meticulously to meet individual patient needs.
• Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients at all times.
• Drive to various locations if required for home care services.

Experience

• Previous experience in a care home or home care setting is desirable but not essential.
• Strong IT skills to manage patient records and communicate effectively with the healthcare team.
• Excellent command of English to ensure clear communication with patients and colleagues.
• A caring attitude and the ability to empathise with patients' needs are crucial for success in this role.
• A valid driving licence may be advantageous for those providing home care services.
