Full job description

We are looking for a kind and compassionate new member of staff to join our team to support our students who are all adults with learning and other disabilities in classroom settings to develop new skills. The sessions we run cover everything from maths and english through to karaoke and art. The ideal person will be flexible enough to be sitting with a student supporting them to read in the morning and then in the afternoon supporting a student to sing their favourite song on karaoke. We do need someone who has experience in personal care including toiletting and feeding, several of our students use a hoist so experience and training in this would be desirable. We are only open Monday to Friday, so there is no weekend work and we are closed for all the Bank Holidays too. We pay the Real Living Wage so the new hourly rate of £13.45 from April 2026 is shown and this will be the rate you will be paid when you start.
