Our Core Values:

At Lynhales Hall, our values of Caring, Kind, Passionate, Committed, Polite, Respectful and Compassionate are at the heart of everything we do. We are currently seeking a dedicated individual who naturally shares our values, to join our home as a Housekeeper/Domestic Assistant.

Ensuring that every room and living space is clean, tidy, and maintained to an exceptional level at all times. You will be a champion for hygiene and infection control within the home, creating a welcoming, safe, and comfortable environment for residents, as well as their friends and families.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Follow and maintain cleaning schedules, outlining daily, weekly, and monthly tasks.
  • Ensure the standards of cleanliness are of a high standard including resident’s individual rooms, all fabric, furniture, carpets, and equipment.
  • Adhere to health & safety & COSHH regulations to ensure the safety of residents, visitors & staff.
  • Ensure any necessary documentation/records are completed and updated as required.
  • Report any maintenance, faulty equipment, furniture, or concerns to the Head Housekeeper.

Rewards Package:

  • Flexible pay – access earnings to suit your financial needs.
  • Free onsite parking.
  • Formal training opportunities - enhance your skills.
  • 5.6 Weeks annual leave entitlement (pro rata).
  • Employee of the month scheme - up to £225.00 for the overall winner.
  • Seasonal gifts – a small token of our appreciation.
  • Blue Light Card - discounts for a variety of retailers and restaurants.

About You:

You will have previous housekeeping/cleaning experience within a fast paced busy environment, with a strong focus on high standards, ensuring the environment it maintained to a high level. You will also have the ability to prioritise and complete your allocated tasks during your set shift. Previous care home experience would be an advantage but not essential as we will provide you with the knowledge and understanding if you have the people qualities and share our core values.
