Health Care Assistant Days

Permanent

Full Time 37.5 hours per week

£14ph - after 6 months £14.50ph

ELDER HOMES LTD is a medium business in Health Care in Edinburgh. We are professional, inclusive, engaging, and our goal is to Provide a wonderful nursing and care home for our residents, in an environment that has built great staff teams and supports its workers.

We are looking for a Healthcare Assistant to join our team and provide excellent care to our residents. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting with residents care, helping to maintain a clean and safe environment, and providing administrative support. The ideal candidate should have excellent communication skills, a strong work ethic, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to make a difference in the lives of our residents .

Responsibilities:

  • Provide support to medical staff.
  • Assist with residents care and comfort.
  • Perform administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments and filing paperwork.
  • Maintain residents records and ensure accuracy of information.
  • Assist with medical procedures as directed by medical staff.
  • Observe residents condition and report any changes to medical staff.
  • Provide emotional support to patients and their families.

Candidate Requirements:

You must be able to demonstrate excellent communication and team working skills, together with the ability to take a flexible approach to your work.

Must have the right to work in the UK.

Fluent English language skills are required.
