Care at Home Promoter

Job Title: Care at home promoter
Location Inverclyde / Renfrewshire
Hours: 16 hours temporary for 3 months

Reports To: Care Manager

Role Overview

We are seeking a friendly, reliable, and professional Community Outreach Representative to help promote our services within the local community. This role involves distributing leaflets and business cards, building relationships with residents, and introducing our services to potential clients, particularly older adults and their families.

Key Responsibilities

  • Distribute leaflets, brochures, and business cards in designated neighbourhoods.
  • Visit local communities and speak courteously with people about our services.
  • Engage with older adults and their families in a respectful and professional manner.
  • Answer basic questions and provide information about the services we offer.
  • Identify potential clients and collect contact details for follow-up where appropriate.
  • Build positive relationships within the community to increase awareness of the business.
  • Maintain records of areas visited and outreach activities completed.
  • Always represent the company in a professional and compassionate manner.

Skills and Experience

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Friendly, approachable, and confident speaking with members of the public.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
  • Understanding and sensitivity when interacting with older people.
  • Previous experience in customer service, sales, community engagement, or care settings is desirable but not essential.
  • Full driving licence and access to a vehicle is required.
