Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate, dedicated and experienced Female Senior Carer who is a driver to provide essential support to individuals in need of assistance with daily living activities. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years experience in senior care, within a UK home care setting. This role requires a commitment to enhancing the quality of life for our clients through attentive and personalised care.
Duties
- Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Provide medication administration as prescribed and ensure adherence to care plans.
- Support clients with mobility and heavy lifting as necessary, ensuring their safety and comfort.
- Engage clients in social activities and companionship to promote emotional well-being.
- Maintain accurate records of patient care and report any changes in condition to the appropriate personnel.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals in case management to ensure comprehensive care for clients.
- Ensure a clean and safe environment for clients, adhering to health and safety regulations.
Skills
- Proven experience in senior care or within a home care environment in the UK is essential.
- Strong understanding of patient care principles, including medication administration and case management.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients and their families.
- Compassionate nature with a genuine desire to help others.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting tasks safely and effectively.
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail in maintaining client records.
- Flexibility to adapt to the varying needs of clients and changing work environments.
