Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Care Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality care to residents in a care home setting, ensuring their comfort, safety, and well-being. This role requires a proactive approach to supporting individuals with daily living activities, adhering to care plans, and fostering a positive environment for all residents.

Duties

  • Assist residents with personal care tasks, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
  • Support individuals with mobility and physical activities as needed.
  • Implement and follow care plans tailored to each resident’s needs.
  • Maintain accurate records of care provided and report any changes in residents’ conditions.
  • Engage residents in social activities to promote mental well-being and companionship.
  • Ensure the cleanliness and safety of the living environment.
  • Communicate effectively with residents, families, and other healthcare professionals.

Experience

  • Previous experience in a care home or home care setting is advantageous but not essential.
  • Familiarity with creating and following care plans is beneficial.
  • Strong communication skills in English are required for effective interaction with residents and team members.
  • Basic IT skills are necessary for maintaining records and documentation.
